i'm just starting out skiing next year. i plan to get rossi scratches and i dont know what size to get. i know with snowboarding the smaller size you have the easier it is to spin. and its easier to learn stuff on smaller skis. but i plan to have these skis for a long time. so should i go with the 168s? or up into the 170s?

how tall are you? And you're gunna want to get lessons on just the basics of skiing before you ski any park.

i have 168's and im 6'.

I'd go 169 Public Enemy, easy enough to learn on but enough length to not outgrow.

170's or up.

exactly....learn to ski in genrall first, dont think buying scratches will make u a sick skier, in general and in the park.....get the skiing part down, and then move to freeski stuff...

but a 168-171 is the sisize im guessing....but we really needa know your height

i'm 5'10" and yeah i'm not goin to the park first thing, but i just wanted to buy some skis instead of rent every weekend next winter so i can just learn on them then move to freestyle when i'm good enough

do you snowboard? id did for a few years, then started skiing this year and it took me less than a day to learn. if you think you will learn fast go for the biger skis.

i'm 5'6'' and i have 169 fujatives, they work because they're softer in the middle, so it also depends on the skis.

yeah i've snowboarded for 7 years and skied 2 before that should it should be easy to pick up. i'm headin up to my mountain today, its the last weekend they're open and rent some skis to get the hang of it.
