What size POC helmet??

HiIm looking to get the poc receptor bug and wearing a thin beanie underneath. also I want my goggles to fit under as well. what sizes do you guys wear and what would you say your head size is?

Can you remove any padding in this helmet?

I wear a 7 5/8 new era cap for refference. haha.

Whatever size you get, make sure it fits with your goggles. Bug fitted my head great but didnt dig my shades. So I got a Smith Maze instead. Take beanie and goggles helmet shopping.
 
ive always used giro helmets with goggles outside. sold everything so Im open to getting new goggles as well. looking at the electric eg2 or anon figment. anyone got that combo?what goggle/helmet combo is great with the bug? I want a big surface goggle
 
I had before an red trafe size M helmet but bought an poc receptor bug size L, dunnow how it fits before i get it from mail. I wear size 7 1/2 new era cap
 
yeah I know im supposed to try it on but all the stores are either sold out or they dont carry poc. thing is I can get this for a couple of bucks from my friend who imports them so Im kinda on the button here. need to make a decision. there's got to be someone on here riding the bug who has an opinion.
 
i have a poc bug in size xl and i wear a beanie and goggles under. i only had to remove the front piece of padding and the ear pads. they run a little small. i have xl, but i'd be wearing a large in most other companies, so keep that in mind. i think they have a sizing chart online, so why not measure your head? then buy the one that's supposed to fit your head and take padding out as needed.

if you bought the wrong size, could you return it through your friend? if so, go for it and return if you have to.
 
imo poc helmets match best with oakley's goggles like crowbars or splices. For sizing, medium = new era 7 3/8 but for a beanie I would say go Large
