what kind of fabric of whatever should i use to get speed to hit a rail?

tarp and soap sucks, no control. we use indoor outdoor carpet or astro turf with water a soap. its gives good control on the jump. you can also use construction fenceing to get speed.

 
yeah, andy is right, construction fencing is awesome stuff, and u need control, its so annoying with a tarp and soap, cuz unless ur hauling ass, u cant step onto the rail

i use metel fencing i get at agway. it works really well. the only thing i can compare it to is the orange construction fence and snow. its alot faster then construction fence and you have alot more conrol. its not quite as fast as snow and you don't have as much contol however.

I used to just get some plywood and spray it with a hose. It was sketchy but whatever. I don't do my rail in the summer anymore though cause it's like 10 feet and 6 inches off the ground so it's just a waste of time

when using the construction fence, throw it in the top half of the drop in, and use carpet underneath, then end the fencing before the jump for really good control

yea tarp sucks...and mos def. use the right carpet...we tried using one in our hosue and well yea didnt work out so well
