What should I set my DIN at?

All depends how hard u ride, i recently broke my rossi axial 140's and they were all the way up at 14 and therefore im lookin for some old zrv 18 or z races, and if i have to ill pay wat i need to for the new p18's, but im 6'1' 195, so if u ride like i do id say a 10 or 11 at least.

I am with patg and others here. If you have no idea, you should probably have it done professionally. But, if you really want to do it yourself, I would start with a 6.5, maybe a 7. If you find they are releasing too easily take it up 1 or 2. But let me tell you man, knees are valuable things, start on the safe side

I dream of winter.

if i had a manual i could tell you, if you want it set right, id bring it to your local shop, unless you can find the chart, if not then prolly 7

the shop will set mine, but i have to crank them up about 3-4 ususally. to figure it out initially, they set them at 6, and i turned them up to 7. i kept popping out for no good reason, so i turned them to 8. the come off when i want and not when i dont

binding destruction count: 2 so far this season, one pair of lines and one pair of rossis: what will be next?

also depends on bindings. you might want to crank up the DIN if you have salomons cause they have the early release thing

You guys are seriously retarded to fuck with dins and then tell him to set it at 9!! He's only 150lbs!!

Did you guys know there's a fuckin chart that involves skier ability, sole length...etc?

Sometimes this forum pisses me off.

but seriously, how can u be a skier and not know wat setting u should be skiing on or for that matter not even know how to tune ur bindings?

its impossible to tell a din size from that info. all boots are different thickness's the size on the ouside of a boot is just he insole size so a 25 could be bigger than a 28.5 if its thicker

im your weight but taller, but anyway i have mine set at 8 which works great for me. i do get some accidental releases, but i would rather have to try a trick again due to a lost ski than break myself
