What should i say in court?

Alright about a month ago i was driving with my brother when a police woman pulled me over. I was confused didnt know wat was wrong. Well my brother forgot to put on his seatbelt and i got hte ticken becuase he was 15 and u have to be 16 to get a ticket. I am going to court tomarow and i have to clue on what to do? Any help please
 
if you have good grades bring your report card and maybe a letter from a teacher saying how good you are, or if you're on an honor society or some volunteer group bring that up. Or if you're not make something up like you rescua kittens and nurse them back to health. And wear nice clothes so she thinks you are responsible and respectable. Just be really nice and tell her it wont happen again yada yad yada... maybe you'll get it reduced or thrown out

alright um do i plead guilty or not guilty.. o and like does anything happen to my liscence because i heard if u get like a speeding ticket or somehting in the first few months they take away ure liscence.? Help
 
plead nonguilty. tell the judge that you had your seat belt on and that your brother wasnt. there should be no reason why you get a ticket. if you do end up getting charged make your brother realize hes gonna be paying the ticket
 
when i saw this thread i thought it was about someone busted for drug dealing or something. idk what to tell you man. my dad got $50 added on when my brother didn't wear his seatbelt. but definitely make him pay.
 
plead nonguilty, and the bitch probebly wont show up to your court date and you will get off free. i got a $500 ticket for passing a school bus and i pleaded non guilty and the cop didnt show up so i never had to pay anything
 
if you decided to take it to court, rather then paying for the ticket then you should have already had a pretty good idea of what you were going to say.
 
Alright i figured out what i was going to say, I am going to say that i was pulled over right when i just started driving and i thought that my brother had enough commen sence to put on his seatbelt becuase i tell everyone else that enters the car i drive to put on there seatbelt. Also i will make sure that this will never happen again and that he will always where his belt.

Now i just do not know wether to say guilty or non guilty

u can lie but if u get caught in the lie u are screwed...but half the time the cop wont even show so they just get rid of the ticktet
 
claim you are black and wear baggy cloths and the judge might think you are just retarded and let you off. if you really don't want to pay then say you are gay and you were only given a ticket because the cop was a homophobe. these days no one can convict a gay for anything.
 
Just say the stupid piece of shit took it off when the car stopped not knowing the police woman (haha it just sounds funny) would be ticketing for it
 
Court for a seatbelt violation? In montana I think thats like a 15 dollar fine or something. Dude just go in be like my bro was taking it off to look for something in the back or some shit. Get creative bro, its easy.
 
man... first make sure if this is even worth your time. If it is a $50 dollar ticket... arrange to pay for it. Don't worry about a lawyer. Done. You won't go to jail for not wearing a seatbelt... lol.
 
Most likely you won't have to say anything in court... if you plead guilty and get some sort of deal... that is one option. If you plead not guilty then you will have to go back to court on ANOTHER date and face a jury.

Chances are you are just going to the clerks office, where you will be free to ask any questions you like. I recommend not giving her any stories unless you are sure the one you will make is the best for your situation.
 
just say the windows were dirty, the direction you were driving, the sun made it hard too see than say the cop didnt see well worked for my dad
 
from experience, fighting menial things like that in court will get you nowhere. also, what state do you live in? in most states, you can't get pulled over just for someone not having their seatbelt on. in most states, its a summary offence, which means the cop can add it on if you were in an accident or speeding or blew a light or whatever, but they cant pull you over for that alone.
 
plead insanity, or that they got the wrong guy. And go in there like 2pac did, when he was on murder trail, and skip instead of walking and such
 
yeha whatd they pull u over for in the first place? they wouldnt have pulled u over cause they thought some1 might not have been wearing a seatbelt, theres gotta be a reason of why u got pulled over in the first place
