What Should I Get????

im in a toss up right now.

i cant decide between a

55-200mm Lens costing $200

or a

wide angle Lens costing $150

for my nikon.

what do you guys have?

what are some positive and negative things about both?

advice or stories or what ever would help.

well, first off, if you do not posess a wide angle lens then get one, there sick and you can use it for OH sOOO much. i would HIGHLY say the wide angle.

unless you shoot alot of wakeboarding and such like i do in the summer. i have a 70-300 and i pretymuch ONLY use it when im shooting wakeboarding..

on the other side of things, i have a gnar wide angle that i pretymuch use ALL THE TIME.

Wide angle. As important as telephoto is for skiing, there is soooo much more use for a wide angle.
