What should I film in?

I have a gopro hero 4 silver and I'm not sure what I should be filming in. I'm basically just going for the most professional look possible so my question is, what looks best? 1080 @60 wide?, super veiw?, 2.7k? I mean I have literally no idea what to do. Also I have a pretty decent dslr, should I do a lot of filming with that? (it's kind of a pain to bring on the hill especially considering the fact that all of my friends hate filming and I have to like beg them just to hold my gopro for a single run).

But what do you film in? What quality is to much or to little?

Any help is appreciated.

thanks

Why are u filming them if they won't even hold your camera in the 1st place haha

I don't film them, I guess my question really was for when we film each other in general hahaha

Unless you have a killer editing set up (Which you probably dont, considerng you are asking this question), dont shoot 2.7k

I would shoot 1080p 60fps, if your computer has trouble dealing with that bump it down to 720p 60fps.

Give us the specs on your computer.

I use my buddies decked out 27 inch brand new iMac with final cut pro. Idk the specs but it's pretty beefy

oh damn i didnt realize what you were working with there. id definitely go 1080p @ 720fps on your go pro then. if for some strange reason the imac cant handle it, convert to 720p, but i doubt it wont be able to handle 1080. wont even be a big deal though because online media platforms dont really take full advantage of 1080

I'm assuming you mean 120 right?
