so today i went to my friends house and received a call from my dad. he told me that he took 50$ from my bank account because he was "charging" me for a couple of soda cans i left out in the kitchen and being honest i do leave stuff out from time to time and he didn't ask me to clean it up just did it him self and basically stole 50 dollars from my bank account with out my consent at all i didn't request him to do the work or anything.

So i am wondering what i should do i cant get the money back but its totally fucking ridiculous for him to basically steal 50 bucks from me. for such a small thing. there are 2 things i think i could do.

A. go get my bank account unlinked from theirs since i am 18 i shouldn't have a problem doing this. but that way they can't just take money from me. Only problem is my dad is a super unreasonable man and would most likely start charging me rent.

B. Move Out... the problem here is it would be hard to afford and i may not be able to ski this winter

So what does NS think I should do any other suggestions other than my 2 plans are welcome

otherwise on a more serious note i suppose you could tell him you think it's unreasonable, and ask him to give you your money back and tell him you'll try to pick up after yourself
 
Keep that account open with 25 bucks in it and open a new account that you use all the time. Tell your dad that you will make an attempt to try and clean up after yourself and if there is any way that you can "earn" back your money. Then just keep you head low and wait till he has paid for college and your insurance/cell phone all the shit he pays for. Then tell him you have no respect for him and move out.

Or just shoot him and you could go to jail... but 50 bucks richer.

he is just really really dramatic but i got my money back there was a whole "family meeting" no need to bring you guys into my family life completely but yeah everything is good now i just have to make it until after school this year and then move out
