alright ns im in a bit of a bind, some girl who i have literally never talked to in my 16 years of life asked me to prom... she is a junior, im a sophmore so i couldnt ask anyone cause im not invited... but anyways she asked me today and like i dont want to be a dick and turn her down but i mean i dont know the first thing about her besides her name, and that she is not very good looking at all...
i really dont even want to go, but like my friend is telling me to go cause he is going with an ugly chick also but still.... oh and prom is in less than a month...
if anyone has any advise please share... i need to text her tonight (i had to ask her number today) and tell what my thughts are.... oh and i know this should be in ladiesmen but all well....
 
same thing happened to a friend of mine, almost exactally. He said yes because his friends was going and diddnt want to have to hang out with his dates friends, so just go, take one for the team and make this ugly random girls night

or

say no way bitch, I dont even know you and your ugly
 
I wouldn't do it, not sure if that makes me a dick but proms are expensive and i wouldn't want to drop a bunch of cash for an awkward evening with some ugly chick i don't even know. However it might make you feel good inside, so helping the chick out wouldn't be the worst decision, but i would turn her down as polite as possible.
 
i guess there really isn't an easy way to deal with that. It sucks because she pretty much put you in a crap situation. If you really don't know her and have no desire to get to know her, or no desire to spend all the money associated with going to prom then the best thing you can do is just be honest about it and tell her that you'd really rather not because you don't know each other well and whatever else.
It will be uncomfortable to do of course, but it will save you a lot of time, effort, and more discomfort that you'd experience if you acted like you wanted to go and had to grin and bear it ya know?
 
unless you and your friend thats going has something planned, i wouldnt do it man. if you dont know her and shes ugly, then its not worth it. its going to be awkward and you can't even stare at her face or boobies the whole time

i have a friend (sophomore) going with a girl that originally asked his brother (whos a senior) and got rejected, haha. shes like ehhh, but what ever, hes going to go for the after parties.

btw, you guys have prom as juniors? proms just for seniors around here and anyone other people if a senior asks them
 
yeah thats kinda what i was thinking but i found out that she asked another one of my friends and he used the "proms are to expensive" exuse on the same girl so now i really dont know what to do...
 
Dont let other people run your life cause you feel bad about saying no. My dad always wanted me 2 ride road bikes with him (on my mnt. bike??) and I eventually said, "no thanks, i dont really wanna." havent regretted it since.
 
well it turns out im going with her... shit... haha its not all that bad i mean ill be able to hang out with my friends during it... and we are taking a limo, but we are going with a creepo and his gf who is friends with the girl whom i barely know that im going to prom with.... oh and my 'rents said they will pay for the tux and stuff cause they "feel bad for the ugly chick"... haha i feel kinda like a jerk... all well its just fucking high school....
 
slip a roofie in her drink then wait till it kicks in. Take her to the janitors closet and leave her there. Then go back out and have a good time. dont forget to leave the door unlocked though
 
if said girl is hot, and you have some cash to spend on tux and dinner or whatever, what do you have to lose? if it's gay, then say you don't feel good or something and peace
 
same thing is sorta happening to me now, there's so me decently hot chick who i know a little bit, i've hung out with her a few times, had her friend tell me that she wants menow i would go for it but i rarely see the girl nor do i know her that well
