What Score Would YOU get ....

... On that Xgames Slope Course... .

So - given your trick bag, and the judging seen so far.... what do you think you could throw down realistically... ?

I guess what i'm trying to assess is the growing gulf between the top pro's and good am's in skiing... dubs aside, a lot of kids on here can throw down... but the sport at that level is getting so wild now, and it seems the break away group of guys there now (today's slope field pretty much) are pushing each other further and further. No room for even the slightest mistake (a good thing i think). I also think the gulf between the top skiiers and good am's is steaming ahead of that in snowboarding.... that slope comp was epic...

I reckon a huge Cosack of the money booter may score me a 10... :-)

Colby's first run got a 3 with 4 tricks I can't do. So .17 would be my score. I would do 3 backflips on those jumps and call it a day. If it was text to win, I would get a 94.

Ha ha .... if wearing an american Eagle t shirt and evil caneval style helmet, then yeah maybe...

most NSers would beat the pros. The kids on here would throw dirty rail tricks and some backs, and take the win

well i could 2 or maybe 4 out of the first rail.

slide the second box.

180 tap the hitching post.

and then id be done. id die on the cannon.

and straight air the first jump. not sure id even hit the other two.

considering i would slide two to rails normally and probably come off early then hit the cannon and land forward maybe three the 1st jump straight air the second, either not hit the third or eat shit on it and then ski passed everyone leave buttermilk mountain b/c it sucks and head over to highlands. I would probably get about a 1.65

lol after every hit that dumb measuring thing would come out and show you the jump sizes it was so annoying. the first one was 65 the second 68 and the last one i think 70?

nah. first one was 55. second one idk. 60-65. last one was 68. but thats like to barely the knuckle. its easily 70 plus

I would hit the first rail, 270 out second box, straight off the cannon, or three the side, then straight air/grab all the jumps.

basic 270s on the rails, backflip off the canon and maybe some easy bios or rodeos off the jumps.
maybe a 40?

are we including practice on the course? most of us are not fortunate enough to be able to hit jumps that big so if you factor that you could probably learn new tricks and up your score... maybe.

i loled. i can see it. slowly going up the lip "what's he doing?" as you slide under it. "wow he really fooled that hitching post"

after watching girls, it has occured to me i could hit the cannon. id just 50 50 it and either late 180 out or just straight air. but i could make it over for sure.

I used to watch these TV things and be amazed on the jumps, then last year i went and skied the Dew Tour course at Mnt Snow on a day when it was pouring snow. after the big jumps a few times I realized how easy they really are. and how when they are built right, that doing big tricks on them is easy when you actually sack up. I tried a 360 and ended up with almost a 9. and my rodeo 5 turned into a 7.
when things are built big and built right, tricks just get easier. its all in your head

I'd get less than ten, especially since Colby got like a 3 or 5 or whatever and he did stuff I probably can't do. I'd straight air the jumps, maybe 180 the smallest one and maybe a 270 onto one of the rails. I'd skip the stairset thing, wouldn't even think about touching the rainbow rail and probably skip the cannon too.

I don't even know how or what to do on the "hitching post" besides just jump and tap it.

I'm wondering how some traveling circus tricks would score on the rails.

whatever they would give me for not doing anything special on the rails and straight airing all the jumps....if that

I would get whatever score they give you for standing at the top pissing your pants. I could pretty much straight slide the rails/boxes, some tap shit on the hitching post, straight air the first jump and skip the last two.

but that's better than what my pipe run would be which would consist of me riding about 1/3 of the way up the walls all the way down.

i would MABEY hit one of the jumps. im sure i could come up with some trickery on the rails though...

here's the run I would take.

front 4 out of the flat bar

k fed the dfd

360 tap the hitching post

360 the cannon

540 the first jump

720 the second

720 the third

(all the jumps are regular and left spinning)

I would prob score around 11-12 with my estimation

well if this is a 12, then I also am a 12.

Front 4 out of the flat bar

Blind 2 the DFD

Shifty 1 the hitching post

Switch 5 lead mute the first jump

Front flip the second

Blunt 7 or 9 the third
