What roof box can fit 188's?

I know they would probably be really tight in a yakima skybox 16 if they fit at all, although the box would fit nicely on your vehicle. The websites are pretty good as far as specs and stuff. Are you looking at anything in particular?

Not really just something that would fit my skis, doesn't matter too much if the hatch doesn't open all the way as long as it opens enough. Mainly concerned that my crossbars can't be adjusted

Most of them have some decent adjustability and it's stated in the specs on the sites. What is the spread? I used our skybox 16 on a 2010 wrx hatchback and it was great, I'm not sure if the 18 would fit very well though it would certainly fit the skis.

If you go on yakima.com you can put your car information in and it will help guide you to products that will fit, though it's not perfect.

Do you have a rack and road or similar car accessory store near where you live?

No stores other than the local auto parts, my car should have the same spread as the 2010 wrx, I'll probably head over to the Yakima site the way things are going. Won't need it for a while, as I'm an easy coaster and I currently am waiting for valve cover gaskets so I won't lose a quart of oil every mile

Reí *may* be helpful as well. I believe they carry yakima, Thule and maybe inno? You could bring your skis and do some test fitting?
 
I have an old thule adventurer that I love. Fits my 191's, my friend's skis, and recovery/emergency equipment no problem. And they can be found cheap on craigslist if you're patient.
