What park ski should I get next year?

So I've used my current park skis for two seasons now, and although I can still ski them, I've gotten loads of scratches into the base, I think it's starting to delam (btw, delaming is when the layers of a ski split right? Cause that's what's happening to my ski haha), and overall I just think it's time for me to get some new skis. I'll be getting these next year, so I'll most likely be getting 2011 skis. I know most people haven't been able to ride next year's skis yet, but

based on what people have said, past skis, specs, etc. it would be great to atleast get some suggestions of skis people think would be good, or atleast skis that have been good in previous years. So anyways I'm about 5'5 but still growing, and I weigh only about 110-120 lbs. I've only ever ridden one pair of park skis, which are the skis I'm currently using (they're some old 07/08 rossis but I don't really know what skis they are - I THINK they're called Scratch Blasts) but I think I would prefer something fun and playful, and really soft (since I'm so light). Probably about 160-170 in length, and will be used on the east coast. I'm probably about 90% in the park (since my local hill has no good terrain whatsoever) but I do take some runs down groomers every once in a while. - no backcountry around here haha.

Oh, also, is there really a big difference between symmetrical VS assymetrical? Because at the moment I can't quite decide if I have a preference, but from what I've learned from the searchbar, it seems as though symmetrical skis must be mounted centre (which I prefer), ride just as good switch as it does forwards, and are supposedly only good for pure park, while assymetrical skis must be mounted back a few cms, carve not as well switch, although improved performance while carving forward, and better pop. Anybody else got more insight on this?

Oh and sorry for the long post and all haha.

if you want soft and playful and symetrical, def line invaders. i love the center mount and rides switch just like it does front.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I looked into the Abangs, but people say that they're slow, and are kinda heavy, and I know it's purely cosmetic, but I don't really want the topsheet chipping on me. Although I'd love more opinions on them :P

Invaders, although look like some really sick skis, aren't made anymore and I don't really want a used pair so yeah...

Just looked into Disorderlys, and they sound pretty close to what i'm looking for, so I think I'll do a little more research on those. Thanks!

Don't know much about Liberty, but I'll definitely look into their skis.

I've looked at Reno Jibs before, and I was considering them at one point, but I never really did more research on them, but I'll be sure to take a look.

Thanks again! Also, in case I wasn't clear, the skis don't HAVE to be symmetrical :P The bottom part of my post was just wondering about them and their pros/cons.

man i have some rossingnol s'2 those things are so fun the 2010 by the way slide so smooth super light extremly poppy in the tip and tails soooooo sick very durable also

Hmm Blue Steeles look like a pretty solid ski, but I guess you guys don't have any dealers for them, do you? Cause I kinda like being able to actually see and hold a ski in person before buying them. Thanks anyways though, and who knows, I might make and exception. :P

For the S2s, they look a little wide for my use, as I don't really need a 50/50 ski for backcountry and park, but S4s might not be too bad - I'm currently using Rossis and overall I don't really have any complaints about them, so it might be a possibility. Thanks!

Bump. So now it's getting closer to Fall and skis will be dropping in a month or two and I've narrowed it down to two skis: Atomic Punx, or Armada Thalls. However, I got a couple of questions and I'd really appreciate it if anybody can answer them.

1. Anybody know if the Punx have changed at all between the 09-10 models and the 10-11 models other than graphics? Because if they're the exact same ski I see no point in shelling out hundreds more for a new graphic.

2. I heard Thalls are getting stiffer by about 10 percent this year or something. Do you guys think I'd be better off getting '10 models, or are there improvements in the '11 model compared to the '10 ones?

3. If anyone has tried both skis, which one do you think is softer?

4. Finally, the Punx are a fully symmetrical ski while the thalls aren't. I ski probably 70-80% park and the rest groomers, so do you think a symmetrical ski would be better, or an assymetrical? Or is it really just based on which I like mroe? Also, what are the main differences between the two?

Thanks a lot, and +k to all answers!

Crap sorry I guess triple post, but I forgot to mention that I'm still open to suggestions for other skis if anybody has any!
