What online ski shops do you support?

Obviously we could all just get totally outfitted by REI, but then you're supporting big business just to end up looking like a geek! What small businesses are your go-to for buying ski gear online? One of my favorites is Racewax.com, they have an awesome selection of ski tuning tools and some other random stuff

I feel like REI is a bad example, not because they aren't huge, but they generally support local causes as well as cool projects. The REI in my town pledged to donate money to help prevent our premier biking spot from being developed into real estate, which only a massive corp would be able to do.

Love to support backcountry! Love what they are doing for the community! But in all seriousness small planet sports my favorite.

I like to support evo. They like to support the ski community by making tutorial videos. Some of them are helpful.

They help support quite a few film projects so that's always great.

Small Planet is fucking gnarly. I felt out of my element backcountry-wise when I stepped in there in Queenstown.

I should support evo because I get so much info from there. It’s literally like my go to for ski specs.

I used to think this until whoever runs their corporate stuff sued every other company with 'backcountry' in their name. Super suspect IMHO.

lol wut?

Backcountry.com has done nothing but try to trademark the term "backcountry" and subsequently sent cease and desist letters to all independently owned shops that used the term backcountry anywhere in their marketing material... if you need to support a big shop, support EVO

Im amazed someone else on ns knows about small planet! Its insane tho how much gear they have been able to put in such a small space hahah
