What metal works best for rails?

What type of metal is on the side of boxes? What type of metal are "slippery" rails made out of?

Making a 16ft box to go with my drop in ramp and need something for the edges.

get soemthing that doesnt rust but is strong. i dono what type but thats what you would want. kus my old rail is rusting kus it was just a 3 inch round 10 ft clothes line pole

stainless steel would be incredible, no rust, looks sick, but id imagine itd be fucking expensive

just straight up regular old steel is what park rails are. aka "slippery" rails. they do rust, but it takes a while, and if you cover it and brush it off when it snows, it will last for many years
