What kind of skis should I buy?

Hi guys new to the website, I live on the east coast, so yes it is very icy. But anyway I'm looking for some new skis in the 300-700$ range.

Yes ive heard of this "trick" but the only way to perfect it is to learn it from the great "Switch Monks" deep in the heart of Africa.
