I used to have a 24-105 4L IS, but i sold it because of weddings I have to shoot this summer. It was a fantastic lens and I'm going to miss it.

Looking to add:

Canon or Sigma 70-200 2,8 IS/OS

Rokinon 24/35/85 1,4 primes

Canon 15 2,8 fisheye

Canon 135 2L

Probably will have everything by the end of the summer if my buddy and I get enough booked!

^^ What head should I get for this?

Will be upgrading camera to 70d when it comes out so need to think about that.

i want a camera, but i would never use it, guess im sticking to skig, the only thing i would really get into is if i could somehow afford a bolex h16, that would be cool.

that'd be tight.

personal opinion/

also look at the 28-70 2.8L, its optically and in testing, very similar to the 24-70. Not to mention cheaper. But tamron is also coming out with a 24-70 2.8 VC, and from what i've seen its SHARP. Maybe wait for that to make a decision

/personal opinion

had my 24-105 for over a year -____-

5d II since august

only recently did I upgrade lenses, and that was due to my upcoming jobs. They will be with me for a while, I'm very happy with the quality of them (both optical and build).

oh well, haters gonna hate.

Nikon D3100 for digi and a Nikon F5 for film. I find myself using the Film camera most of the time because it's so fun to use. Got an 85 a 24 and a few other lenses.

Usually a Toyo 45 GII

180220_thumb_mw_700_h_520.jpg

I use this one occasionally

41_holga-120wpc-2.jpg

And I have a 5D, but I need to either get rid of that or sell the 24-70 and get some primes so I'll actually use it.

Not posting pics but:

HPX170 (sale pending)

DVX100a (may sell, but it was my first baby)

T2i/550D (plan on using for awhile until there's something revolutionary and worth upgrading to)

Rode VideoMic Pro

Magic Lantern Firmware

Tokina 11-16mm

Nikkor 50mm 1.8 (Adaptor)

Gini Shoulder Rig

Gini Follow Focus

Libec LS22 Tripod System

Carryspeed Viewfinder

Once the HPX sells I'll be investing in glass and other stuff like:

Rokinon 35mm 1.4

Rokinon 85mm 1.4

Glidecam 2000HD

Sachtler FSB-4

I want to go out and shoot shit more. Gear is simply tools to make art with. It's fun to get all nerdy and geek out over gear but I'm realizing that any camera and any setup is capable of making something phenomenal in the right hands.

Kids with a t2i and a kit lens.....GO SHOOT.

Buying slightly faster glass or a slight sharpness increase isn't nearly as big of an upgrade as fine tuning your actual skills would be.

Dude thast not a bad setup at all, I'd kill for that.

I have a D3100 W/ 18-55

18-105

Canon FD 50 x1.6 > 85

Wish I had a HVX or even an HV40.

I have a Canon 60d with Sigma 30mm 1.4 and am looking for a wide angle lens.. I was looking at the Tokina 11-16 2.8 and then I see a lot of people have it here which is good to see.. should I pull the trigger on the purchase?

Thanks man haha. im just hitting on the fact that this is a difficult path to pursue if you only have a minimum wage job one day a week lol

On a serious note, I use a T2i, Tokina 11-16, Canon 85mm, Pentax 50mm, Rode Videomic, Glidecam HD2000, and a sachtler ace. It's legit and does everything I want it to do. I wanna get a 70-200 f/4 though for them tight shots
