What is your favorite horror movie?

Looking for some good scary movies to watch. Personally one of the scarier movies i've seen would have to be "Grave Encounters"

"It follows" is mind-numbingly suspenseful. Several of the scenes were so creative and thought out.

scream trilogy

Insidious

The shining is definetly the favorite but IT is a close second, I fucking hate clowns though.

Lol i hate clowns too I remember that clown thing that was going on last fall where they were all over the place

Depends on what kind of horror you are into I guess. Jumpscares usually don't do much for me so I tend to avoid the movies that rely heavily on them. I thought The Witch was brilliant but be warned it's not a fastpaced movie. Great atmosphere though. The Babadook was great as well except for "that" sceen that felt more like a home alone movie. I saw A Cure for Wellness a few months back and loved it, but that's more of a thriller than pure horror. I've heard that both Conjuring movies are great but haven't watched them yet.

If all else fails the classics like Alien and The Thing are still perfect.

Loved The Babadook and The Witch! Still need to watch A Cure for Wellness, it looked pretty good but definitely more of a thriller.

Both Conjuring movies are amazing you should definitely watch them!

As Above So Below is actually terrifying and has a mad good story

I would second this - especially after having visited the Catacombs shortly before watching it, this movie gave me the creeps. Mind-bending.

Probably off topic but I've been getting super into the old X-files series on Netflix. Creepy vibes when you want something shorter.

The witch was awesome. Despite being kinda slow, I always felt like something crazy was gonna happen at any minute.

Slither

It's kind of a spoof but not in the same glaring manner as the scary movie franchise and I fucking love it. "little fuckers are tearing me apart!!!"
