I have solved the mystery to the snowboarder skier dilemna...

well every snowboarder i know constantly talks shit

personally i think that its just because they kno there not as good

 
there is no real rivalry, yes u get snowboarders that are ass holes and ignorant but then u get plently of others that are perfectly chill, i ride with a bunch of boarders and nobody has any trouble getting along, pretty much what it comes down to is everyone is gonna prefer somethin different and thats fine, just your garunteed to get some people in the mix who r ignorant and talk shit, u just deal with it

well i think that snowboards are starting to respect skiers more and more as the skiers show them how big air is done.

as for snowboarders, it takes a lot for me to respect a snowboarder. i have had many close encouters with snowoards comin down the trail out of control almost taking out some of my students. I havent had to tackle anyone yet, but i fear that the day will come when i have to.

i currnelty ride with 4 snowboarders who can rip. No skiers. Other than me. Are they always ratting on me all the time giving me hell...ya. Do the give me the hugest props ever when i kill every thing they can. Yeah, do they push my progression ya. They got my back. And at the end of the day are thery going to look at me, and say 'fuckin' skiers' ummm ya. It just a never ending joke, creates some healthy competion,but full respect is always there.

most annoying thing ever is when they sit, like five across, underneath a jump. sometimes i just fell like sliding over them.

fuck ya kev, that shit says it all. all my friends snowboard, i ski, and we all RIDE. everybody respects everybody. and now that theres such a huge skiing scene in mammoth, the snowboarders that do talk shit talk a lot less shit because a lot of the skiers here go bigger and steezier than they do.
