not a 3 series, not a volvo.

I agree with it looking 70's era, japanes almost, but I think its a Russian make.

Looks like a Datsun, but its not.

I just love this car
 
Agreed... it is infact a early 70's Lada.
looking at about a hundred right now... quite cute.

it looks like a 510, and that was my first thought, but there is no datsun with that stubby of a front end.
 
i was thinking of you when i posted. I too first thought of a datsun. I looove the seventies datsun trucks. theres one around town with a sr20det in it, matte black paint, stretched tires. omg nice truck

i've kinda always wanted a 70's import. I loved my neighbors volvo and tried to get my dad to get me one.... he got me a fiero instead. Then it died...
 
i almost bought a lada niva, but decided against it just because parts would be pricey. i should have gotten it thought it would have been a fun vehicle. 4x4, and a split manual transfer case. real rugged. iv just alwaaaays loved seventies imports. one day il get one. its just so hard to decide which one
 
Ha yeah but it was still made in japan.

I just prefer not to scrape my bottom on speed bumps thanks. Their great for cruisin and lookin good but it ain't a ski vehicle.

lol, karl, Datsuns are fuckin awesome, i probably wont own one this summer but i will next summer for sure i think.

i can get a ka20det with a 5 speed for suuuuper cheap from this guy i know, i just need a car... or truck to put it in haha

i already have a truck though, a car seems better for me, especially as this summers project is a toyota trail rig, so 2 trucks this time next year... i wont need a 3rd pickup i guess haha
 
its not because they're unreliable that they're shit ....
i always find it funny when someone shits on cars like lada, or even the landrover Defender
if your fancy mercedes has a software problem with its onboard computer you're gonna pay thousands of dollars, if your lada has a blown out piston you pay 300$ and get a brandnew engine....
now what car is shit ?
 
its some weird russian/communist car. not a fiat. if any of you read either of the image URL's , it says its russian right there. no make or model but def not a fiat.

my money is on the lada. those are russian.

I still like that era imports over domestic, except for a select few cars ie mustang/shelby

and stingrays are parts cars.

and they're ugly

 
To be fair, it has some resemblance to the 2000ti. Way different in the front end though.
