What is the worst smell

the piss and shit that has been sitting in 90 year old's diapers for 3 hours at the nursing home I work at
 
a potion we created. bottle of month-expired milk, added in chicken, yogurt, banana, and mud. left it in a warm area for a couple weeks.

literally, the worst thing any of us had ever smelled. it turned into a brown solid and started growing orange hair.
 
Dumping grounds on a chicken farm in Virginia, yeah somewhere in the neighborhood of 20,000 rotting dead chickens or so. Wasn't even like we were hanging out there, we were just on the property about a 1/4 mile away and the wind wafted over toward us. I damn near passed out, and I'm used to the smell of dead animals. Never smelled anything close to that bad since.
 
Gotta agree with this one. I've experienced that on a much smaller scale. I work at a place that sells wholesale meat to customers and during the summer when the hot dumpster is full of rotting meat it gets bad
 
If you're trolling, you're a legitimately disturbing individual. If not, I bet experiencing that was borderline traumatic...

And mine was a 6 month old grease trap... Happened at work and I had to actually run out of the kitchen. The customers couldn't smell it yet and they were wondering why the cook was running out of the kitchen and evidently holding back a puke attack.
 
my worst smell:this summer i worked at a prison hospital giving eye exams to inmates. the majority of them smell awful and have rotting teeth (which smells terrible alone). this one patient/prisoner had the worst breath you could imagine which was making me gag just sitting there. and then he started vomiting randomly and since i was already gagging from his breathe, the smell of puke almost put me over the edge.
another time i nearly puked from smell. summer job years ago...the sewage truck came to pump out the porta-john from the work site. the radiating scent of hot, rotting feces was something out of a nightmare.
 
Human body in a decomposing state that was just pulled out of the ground after only being in for about 10-15 years, no guys, they aren't skeletons after 10-15 years. I was on a dig doing forensic archaeology and it's pretty bad, and the smell just kind of stays in your clothes...
Oh! Another HORRIBLE smell that I almost passed/puked out to:
One of our dogs was bitten by something, badger or snake, something with a REALLY dirty bacteria infected mouth, and he got a small sore. Well the sore got very large very quickly (abscess), and doggie was on antibiotics. A couple nights later, I get out of the shower, and I hear my dad/sister scrambling to get towels asking for more.
I wrap up in my robe and walk out to see what's going on.
Puss/bacteria/whatnot is literally squirting out of my dogs side, and he's just chillin', like "Thank you baby Jesus I feel so much better now!" with my sister (who's in the process of becoming a vet) and my dad, facilitating the exit of the foul substance by pushing it out. That smell, that bacteria smell, so bad. It nearly caused me to hurl on the spot (the sight probably didn't help either).
The dog fully recovered and once the abscess was completely drained, the antibiotics did their things and he was happy and healthy bouncing around a few days later.
 
Dinghy boots for sure. Imagine putting your foot in a hot water proof neoprene/thick rubber boot filled with a saltwater / dead skin solution for weeks on end. The only thing that may smell worse is the actual bootjuice
 
well there used to be this abandoned school in my town and sum bmxers built a park in there so we went skate in there. then we went on the roof and broke one of the skylights and one of my mates chucked a brick down... into a loo. he broke the loo it was full of like 2 month old shit and it went all up the walls. probably sum hobos shit as well...
 
last spring i was with a bunch of buddies in portland clubbing it up and we walked by this trash can and it had tipped over and there was the most foul smell of all time... i cannot even describe the stench.
 
The worst smell has got to be sweaty bootliners when you put boot warmers in them. The whole room suddenly fills with the warm aroma of boot stank.
 
the worst smell is definitely those farts that smell like rotten eggs, but only if they come from someone else.but i heard therons bo is unbearable too

We got back from a week trip to find my dog dead and split open from bloating and popping. that was fucking terrible. Then my little brother was trying to culture some bacteria to ingest to make his poop glow in the dark. That bacteria was horrible. So nasty.... and no it didn't work (yet)
 
I like that your brother is still experimenting with this all important task. We need more go getters like him in this world. Best of luck with the glowpoo.

grease traps are pretty awful. I used to work at starbucks and they wouldn't get cleaned for long periods of time and it was horrible. it smelled like a mixture of garbage, BO, and rancid milk
