What is the most protective helmet?

Well after hearing about way to many deaths and serious injuries from skiers WITH helmets hitting their heads on tree's; Ive decide i value my head much more than $30 ( what i payed for my current, not snow sport certified, bern macon helmet ) so im looking into investing in a good safe helmet.

What are some of the safer helmets out there?

any actual helmet is certified to protect you, but im sure the really spendy ones are pretty nice. i know poc makes some reliable shit

Well if you really want protection get a full face, kinda silly unless u need that kind of protection because they are really bulky. Giro and Smith helmets are legit, check em out. For protection I would smith varient brim(expensive), or giro G10 with a visor are some good choices.

POC has good reviews but anyhting made for snow sports that has some kind of reputation will be absolutely fine.
