What is the end goal of all this?

What? For me, there is no “end goal” to skiing. I ski for the feeling of pure joy it gives me in the moment, slashing a pow turn or landing a new trick. Nothing compares. So I ski in search of those moments

The great thing about skiing is that the little rainbow you mentioned never ends. But there’s a pot of gold wherever you’re at on that rainbow.
 
Well each season I set progression goals

so far I’ve well surpassed my rail goals but my jump goals have gone no where because of knee issues

I dont know about that, I just read this article. 3 years ago? Yeah I'd totally want to live like this. Now? Not so much, I'd imagine it to be super lonely without my gf and I want a family someday. It's like hornbeck said in wreckanize, goals change from 18 to when you're 30. Mad props to jack though for living a life that the rest of us dream of, and being one of the most insane skiers at snowbird.

That dude is rad. Everyone has to take their own path mang. My goal is to get the free old guy passes that a lot of places will give out at age 70 or 72 and still be out having fun. Skiing is a lifelong endeavor. It's a social activity too so no need to be lonely if you don't want to be.
 
Wanted to skin up Denali and ski the whole thing down. Slowly losing motivation as I’m aging. Maybe though.
