What is the best way to make a rail?

I was looking for suggestions on the easiest way to make a rail for my backyard.

build the stand like making T's and putting a long 2x4 on the tip of the T and then i have a rail but on the top of the 2x4 get ether a bunch of little or like 1 or 2 big pieces of PVC pipe and drill a hole on the top part of the pipe so u can fit a screw through to tack it town works like a charm
i for a box use like an 8x6x10 instead of a 2x4 with T's again and just cover the hole top with pipe works awesome and it is cheap hope that helps message me if u need picture examples or more info

i bought 1/4 inch plastic and sank screws into it.. this i put on a metal frame.. its way sick but kind of hard to make.

The plastic would be just as good but can get expensive (did u use plexie glass or lexan which is pretty much a sheet of melted PVC)????????????
