I am looking for a ski that is light swing weight and something that is really fun and playful and also steady at high speeds. I am around 5'7 and 125 pounds. I also need something that's going to be good for rails and also good for jumps, something that is durable. The skis i'm looking at are the Line Chronic, Atomic Punx, or Armada AR7 or the Alpha 1. Any other ones that may be better? Thanks.

I've got Punx and man are they great. You can really rip them forward or switch and they are so light. Don't know about durability as I've only had them for a year but I am by no means a rail skier either

K2's post are usually stupid but in this case he may have a point. How old are you, you are pretty small so you won't need a ski which would be stiff for a guy like me. Even a softer jib ski will be pretty good for shredding for you.

UI don't know anyo e that evens owns a pair, I'd be really interested to try a pair though

guys he's 5'7'' he cant use a junio ski regardless how little he weighs, but alphas are stiff as fuck but the halo is a softer halo so i would swithc the alpha 1 for halo

Liberty LTE, they can take a beating for sure, and super light and durable. And they have 3 year warranty that they respond for.

I'm 5'8'' and weigh 140 and use 182 skis, he's not as light as to use junior skis, wtf did you smoke?!

it more comes down to how old he is. If he is 12 and just happens to be tall then obviously he may not have the strength for a full on ski.

An you guys use huge skis. Im5'11 and ride 176 for park

I get what you're saying but I think age is that important, there are young kids who ski hard and whose muscles are well developped.

I do 171 for park, 176 for all mtn and 182 for BC, which are the only ones ill be using from now on cause I sold my alpine boots and im going full AT now hahaha.

No age is pretty important, bone development is not fully finished until usually the age of about14 but it varies person to person. So for a younger skier if thy were to use adult equipment there is a higher risk of serious injury.

Also jnr stuff can often be much cheaper so you could go through 3 pairs of skis for the same price of 1 adult ski.

Obviously it's supper hard to recommend anything to the op as he did not give a ton of info, it's just the fact he is super light I'm guessing he is younger.

You are right man, I didnt think about that at all.

Yeah its hard with such little info so Ill just say Liberty rocks haha.

I use a pair of 161 when I was 12 and 5'6. Just a much more manageable ski depending on how strong you are. I used them up to when I was 5'10 and it just made them easier to throw around.

What is a good online ski store that I can buy some Atomic Punx. Not EVO or backcountry because they only have sizes in 164. PLEASE HELP.

Why not wait for the infamous to come out. They are nice and soft, they have rocker tip and tail so the pivot well and you could get them in 161

Up to you said 5'7 but the bigger part is you only weigh 120lbs. That mean you don't need the extra length for stability. If you weighed about 150 then yeah you would need the length at tht size. A shorter ski though will still be stable for you but have a much lower swing weight which wa also something you wanted. Your about 12.5 cm shorter then me and I ski 176 for park so tht would put you in the 164 range. But go for what you want I'm just saying you don't need to go that long and it may infact hold you back rather then help
