What is the benifit of loose trucks?

I can not understand why someone would rock loose trucks. What is the benifit? it is way harder to set up for tricks, grinds utilizing the trucks are a bitch and landing shit, as well as going fast can get damn squirrily. I skate my front truck tight and by back truck tighter.

I really like loose trucks on my longboards and sometimes when im pool riding. Lets you carve the walls easier. For street skating though, I crank my trucks really tight.

i kinda like mine loose. its just the way i learned.

once you get used to them they are nice. IT helps if you don't land a trick like perfect because then you can still ride away alot smoother without like lifting up your front wheels.

i like rocking kinda loose trucks. aside from being able to carve a lot better, having them looser means you have to land tricks a lot cleaner. it's kind of like a secret skating training program.

i can see where loose trucks definatly make sense on a longboard or on a poolboard. But as far as street skating goes, you get hella wheelbit from even small drops and it tough to do flip tricks when the deck is wobbling all over as you set up for it.

skate the bowl looser is better. Loose trucks are really good for going fast down hills without turning too. try it. The longer and steeper the hill the better.

me and my friend sport loose trucks to the point where my friend is through one ply from wheelbite

it is better, but you have to be good to do it. You can turn easy, you can EASILY setup for tricks, if you have the balance and knowledge. IMO loose owns tight, tight makes everything so much harder, for example under/overating 180's and shuvits sucks with tight trucks

I'm wit mrc its fucking hard but I can pop my shovits about 8 inches higher the same with varial flips... but for grinds its not do dope...It's all prefrence I guess
