What is the 1st new trick you are going to try into pow this season?

This guy knows whats up.

For me the same first trick I do every year, the biggest splaffy possible.

get a friend whos comfortable doing them and have them help. basically them showing you how and getting you stoked to do it. believe me, backflips get everyone stoked.

how hard is it to bring a backie from the tramp to snow if you're 100% confident in the air and with the rotation? i really want to throw one, but living in the East odds are i won't get a chance until the season kicks into gear and we get pow or if that doesn't happen til spring, but if it's not hard to throw i may just huck it regardless of pow or soft snow

Just fucking huck it! The first time I took a backie was after a month without fresh snow. Me and a couple of buddies built this insanely poppy jump. It was minimal with airtime and the landing was as flat as Miley Cyrus, but we were so fucking pumped we tried it anyways.

You have to be pretty much retarded to injure yourself from underrotating a backflip, but you will backslap the first times.

All of this is wrong. You can absolutely hurt yourself and i didn't backslap at all when i got the rotation. That being said, use caution, but if you think you got it, you're gonna get it just fine. If you are confident throwing the trick on a trampoline, it really isn't much different than on snow, except you have a forward momentum rather than straight up. Seriously, have a friend who knows how to do them coach you through it and have some confidence about it, you got it.

that's the thing at the tramp park there's a foam pit, but you're not technically allowed to do 'gainers' because i guess flipping moving forward is more dangerous? but you can always sneak a few in at the end of the session and i can land them to my feet fine. i'm just gonna huck it lol
