What is league of legends?

It's a pretty fun game and I got addicted for a while, but the only problem is that each game is at least a half hour commitment.

I'm down to play when I'm back in town and have access to my comp, ign: redrover.

I'm decent, was high gold S2 (when i played a ton) and been playing since like beginning of open beta. Just hard to find a lot of time to sit down and play.

go play DotA instead -.- Or well, better not, usually LoL players who switch suck so hard at DotA :D

Just kiddin play whatever you want and have fun doing so :D

Finally played 10 ranked games and ended up getting in the silver division. Is that good? I don't know anything about ranked shit.

Ya I just played some of my provisional matches for solo/duo ranked and I won 4 in a row surprisingly and lost my fifth. Going for silver 1 or gold 5 but does anyone know how many provisional ranked matches I have to win to get to silver 1?

I got silver 1 after going 8-2 in promos. It also depends on your normal W/L ratio if you dont have a S2 rank.

Gonna try for plat this season. Currently gold 4.

I recently played for the first time on my new computer. Really a huge step up from my old macbook. Much better experience.

The game itself is good, and clearly leagues biggest feat is the sheer amount of champions has. Yet I quit because the community was just so bad. Too many people showed extremely poor sportsmanship and were just downright assholes, even when I was outplaying everyone in a match. If league had a better community I'd join in an instant, but the vast majority of its user base take that game too seriously.

I think once you start playing with better players, that kind of behavior becomes less common. The graph below is relevant:

Bad players often think they're better than they really are and don't realize what they're doing wrong, so they blame their problems on other teammates. Better players understand what is going on and are generally more understanding and more constructive with their criticism.
