What is it like to die

i know noone has the true answer but i was reading some articles about it and i just wanted to hear your guys input

ive heard its actually extremely peaceful and you slowly drift into a sort of dream

Well last time I died, it was pretty peaceful, everything slowed down and the world faded to black before my eyes.

 
Last time I died it felt like I was just falling and falling and then everything went black. I didn't really like it to much, I probably won't do it again, it's just not my thing.
 
Okay in all seriousness I can imagine that you dream while dying. It's probably a subtle dream, like falling and everything's black, or seeing a light far away. It's because of the DMT released in your brain, which you probably know is what's released when you dream at night.
 
Never, I don't know shit about this topic, I'm just basing it on weird dreams I've had that aren't directly related to anything, they are just lights and falling and blackness
 
Getting decapitated would suck. Apparently on average your still conscious for 7 seconds. And in extreme cases eye movements and mouth movements have been seen after 30 seconds. I guess your brain still has some oxygen right? So I can see how that works
 
Youre probably concious for a second or two... but just because you are moving doesn't mean you're alive or concious.
