i hosted a ski night at the local college bar. while there isn't a big ski and snowboard demographic at my college, it still got a great turn out for a wednesday night at the local bar. while a lot were not rider, some riders came. it was a pretty fun time. drinks, skiing and good vibes. while it was not super organized or legit, it was a free event just to get people stoked on skiing. we also set up a donation bin for the cancer society and made a decent donation amount. i say get in touch with them. i bet they would be super stoked to hear someone is trying to raise ski vibes in the community. i bet you will have as much fun getting it together as i did dude. good luck
