What is better knit or crochete

wellll, i am not into either but i have friends who do both, and from what it seems, crocheting is harder to understand all the techniques but once you do, its much faster, where as knitting is easier, but slower, and more tedious, in a sense more difficult, but with slow effort can yield more complicated patterns. but i very well could be wrong. a lot of skiers do it so you will find out soon.
 
knitting takes forever! I learned how to make scarves last year, waste of time, chrochete-ing is probably more worth the time
 
knitting is surprisingly fun, its mesmerizing, and if your just starting out don't expect to make a nice hat that you would wear outside of the house.
