What is a rodeo, exactly?

Now, I know these kinds of threads are annoying and different people have different opinions and i dont really care what things are called, but I just want to know what a rodeo is exactly so I know what people mean when they say it. I have heard different things, an off axis backflip with rotation/ backwards misty... that seems just to be either a cork or a d spin or an underflip. Ive also heard lincoln with spin, that would somewhat make sense... or maybe a flatspinb that is a little inverted? I dont know

Best way to explane it is a sideflip to 180 kinda, just look at the vids and you will know.

misty 7's got it right, it's a lincoln loop 180, but do the 180 at the same time.

I agree with misty 7 as with underflips you're flipping uphill while doing a 180 while in a rodeo 5 you're flipping more downhill (if that makes any sense)

the best way to explain how to do a rodeo(kinda hard to explain what they are supposed to look like) is to imagine your doing a misty(where you go upt to the jump and throw your shoulder down to your oposit him. do that but then imagin a circular rotation. Then while still imagining the same line stop your motion halfway through, following through with that motion will let u come out with a rodeo the way they were first rodeos where ment to be thrown, long before sites like this

a rodeo isn't a backflip with a spin. a rodeo on a snowboard is kinda like doing a backflip with a spin. but skis are turned 90 degrees right? so it's really a sideflip or lincoln with a spin. dizam...

A rodeo is a licoln loop 180.

A rodeo 7 would be a lincoln loop 360, etc...

best way i can describe a rodeo is 90-off axis backflip-90. but of course doing them simultaneously.

a rodeo is a spin that is between flat and a backflip and cork is between strait up and flat its that simple, but there are exceptions.

the best way to explaining how to get into one is... doing a lincoln loop but turning ur head and looking back up the mountain when u first throw it.. i used to just throw it like a backflip but throwing my shoulder diagonal so it's like an off axis backflip, but i think the first one i wrote about is the correct way now and looks dope. mike nick has a lot of photos and video clips of him doing them.

IM quite sure now that its just a flat where your feet go above your head, that makes sense and people whos opinion i can rely on say so, so im gonna go with that
