What is a good ankle brace that fits under a ski boot?

no way you will get a brace under a well fitted boot. Like others have said the boot will act as a brace so long ads they fit well.

you have a few months before the snow gets here... I'd suggest you start trying to strengthen your weak hoof with

ankle exercises like these ... a brace under a ski boot would probably cause some weird circulation issues, do not recommend.

Like others have said, if your boots fit, a brace under would be crazy uncomfortable.

I hurt my ankle that season skiing and i need some a good ankle brace that will fit in my ski boot

if you hurt your "ankle" skiing. Instead of getting a ankle brace why not just let you're ankle heal so you don't have problems with it for the rest of your life?

hopefully you can take the time to let it heal properly, then make it stronger.

braces let your weak points be weak, they are intended to be used temporarily. you need to get your ankle and your legs and your back really strong before the season. somebody posted some exercises up there earlier on. do those. dont buy a brace

Not sure about this one (see: T Hall at Chads), but I agree about a brace not working under a boot.

Ski boots aren’t gonna save your ankles when you undershoot a 120 foot gap, who would have thought?

Im with everybody else. 1) Your boot is your brace. 2) If you need a brace under your boot to ski you shouldn’t be skiing. 3) you shouldn’t be skiing anyways because it’s the middle of summer. Worry about rehabbing now so when it’s actually winter your ankle will be strong enough to ski on.

Athletic tape. I've found KT tape starts to peel/fall off throughout the day, Get something that holds really firm and well. Shit that like football and hockey players use.

I had a bad ankle injury a few seasons ago (painful skiing the rest of the season but you gotta make due sometimes) and made sure to wrap my ankle/foot every single morning. Combine that with the support of your boot, assuming they fit well, and you'll be pretty stable. It doesn't completely get rid of the pain at all but you can still be able to ski. Plus if you happen to fall or tweak it again, it helps keep swelling down till you get the boot off.

thought this was a guide to wearing house arrest ankle bracelets under ski boots.

It'll take one hell of a punch but I know a guy that can do it for you. (:

The best you can do is going to be taping the ankle. You need to do it correctly - its not just wrapping tape around the ankle randomly. Properly taping an ankle can provide an insane amount of support.

Forget the idea of wearing a brace in a ski boot. Also, look into your boot fit.
