it’s actually so fuckin cold i went out to make sure my dog didn’t freeze to death or blow away when i let him out and lemme tell u birks, shorts and a patagonia puffer are not meant for this artic blast
 
This is some total fuck shit three days of a travel ban and my street is down to pavement. not to mention starting the travel ban in the middle of a work day. Erie county Execs are a bunch of fuckin morons

It's a weak rule man- basically a scary suggestion that keeps people off the roads. People still gotta go to work places like hospitals and other public service industries. They aren't gonna pull you over. Just if you crash or get stuck you'll get a fine. Ohio does the same shit, calls it a level 3 emergency. I didn't even know this was a thing til I moved out of NE Ohio. Apparently many states and cities do this. I've driven countless hours in states along the east coast and Midwest for skiing during travel bans like this and never had any issues.

nah i watched two people get pulled over while xc skiing with my mom and dad yesterday and get misdemeanors and 250$ tickets

You actually watched the cop pull them over (not just saw a cop behind a stopped car with their lights on)? And heard their conversation to know why? And what (if any) ticket they received? Psshhhhht

nah we watched them pull the person over, and my parents asked them since they live in our neighborhood and they actually did get a ticket for it
