What happened to that Kye thread?

Ok - well here's the pics then. I went to Chamonix, France for my spring break 2005 and happened to stumble upon Kye with Glenn Plake shooting w/ Eric Iberg for a big screen action sports movie - that I have yet to hear more about. Anyway... I found out later that the couloir that they were dropping in to was the same couloir that Kye's father had died on. Thing was... Kye wasn't scared at all - and was totally stoked lil kid when I was talking to him moments before dropping in. I was telling him how my friend and I were doing backies off of a wind lip and he was bummed he after he finished the couloir that they were going to end up somewhere else and not be coming back to the spot we were at. Anyway - here are some pics

It was a really old thread too. SOmeone broguht it to life, no point having another hate thread around.
yeah it was gnar... you can't see from the pics but the entrance had rocks on a strip that wasn't wide enough for Plake's normal skis... so he was actually rocking a pair of 169 PEs which was pretty funny to see him on. They each had to make jump turns in the beginning, which was sketch since once in a while the rocks would be in your way. Easy to lose your balance... they had Kye on a rope just for the first initial sketchy section which was definitely not necessary since he actually skied it better & more cleanly than the guides... but prolly makes sense cuz it would have been really messed up if he ended up like his father.
