What happened to Eastern Collective?

I've been looking for a new beanie and checked out EC Headwear's (now Eastern Collective) site and all it had were those phone cables. What happened to the Headwear company we all loved? Why are they only making phone cables? Most importantly where can I get EC hats?
 
Howdy! Still browse NS regularly. But indeed I am no longer in the beanie business.

I started selling crochet hats on NS 10 years ago, which is pretty crazy to think about. It was really fun to do through high school and college. But as most people mentioned the ski industry isn't the most lucrative industry. I never planned for it to happen, but when I launched the cables they organically took over the apparel business with a lot of new opportunities. Plus since I've been out of college for a few years now, I needed a more steady full year business.

Also 4.5 years ago I took a crash (https://www.newschoolers.com/membervideo/326125.0/Matty-Takes-a-Tumble-?s=44609&t=6&o=8&h=1) at Battle My Crew. Wasn't able to ski for two years after that, and that was the last jump I ever hit. So my passion for skiing isn't what it used to be.

I still have a bunch of hoodies, beanies and shades in my warehouse. I have been looking for time to put together a sale over in BST to let them go for cheap. Maybe it will happen soon.

I loved those sunglasses! Hope you do end up getting rid of them on here, I'd be happy to buy more.

I bought this cable, it's been awesome so far. Much more useful than a hat.
