what happened to alpine's park?

alpines park blows. they put the pipe right in the middle of the run and had three rails and a box set up. what are they doing?

 
Yeah, I was there two days ago, and was expecting to declare a Jihad on their rails only to find two flat rails and a box. The pipe is small, and always busy since it is in the middle of the park. Kinda wierd, however their jumps on the skiers right where the pipe used to be are awesome, so I'm not complaining. I just wish they would get some more jibs up.

having the pipe to the right of the chair (where it is now)freakin sucks. it was sooooo much sweeter with it on the other side of the lift, although i must say, the jumps on the left are pretty sick. we can hope they will change it, this setup blows.

I really enjoyed throwing ninetys off the hip to fakie. The tranny was smooth, kinda cool to see new features. Did anyone besides me hit the tree jib?

Alpine put the pipe there beacause it wasnt getting enough sun on the right wall last year. The left wall would always be super soft and the right wall would be ice. Also it allowed them to make the pipe alot longer...

^But I'm pretty sure it is shorter, narrower, and the left wall still turns to mush midday.

finally they put in some good tables. and they painted all the rails. it looks sick now. they have almost everything set up now. props to the park managers.

the pipe could still be a little wider, but you know.

I guess they're thinking of puttinga bunch of tables up on red-green.

I think Alpines park kicks ass right now. It's the best it has ever been. Also, about the pipe situation, where they moved it is a lot better than where it was. And how narrow it is doesn't bother me at all, because it's WAY more impressive than my home resort back on the East Coast; most of you guys wouldn't understand.
