What Golf Clubs????

hey, as you know it's summer, and i need some new golf clubs (grew out of my old ones by about 2" - will fit about a 5'5-er p.m. if interested ) anyway i've been looking around for some new ones and i need some advice on what to get... price range about $250. +k +k +k

on an 18 i'm about a 92.. but i'm getting into it alot and getting alot better. go about once a week
 
I just got these. They're pretty sweet, but its only an iron set, so you'd have to either use your current woods or buy new ones. Also, you're probably not going to be able to get a full set from a name brand for $250.

In my experience, Taylor Made, Cobra, and Nike make irons that I like. There are others, those are just one's I've used enough to talk about. Just go to the store and demo until you find a few that feel nice. New clubs aren't going to do much to your score anyway.
 
go to cool clubs and sign up for a sesh to get clubs made for you. i have two sets of delicious irons that i switch on and off using

ive worked at numerous different courses and swung basically every club there is to swing.
i usually shoot in the high 80's, have the occasional stellar round and the unfortunate 100+ days.
either way last year i bought a pair of nike slingshots off ebay for about $200us. they were slightly used, and i mean slightly, i dont think the 4,6,8 irons had ever been hit. and their the best irons ive ever hit.
their game improvement, ease to hit, well balanced, and just perfect.they dont cost $1200 and your never gonna get a those are sickkkkkkk clubs from snobby rich kids comment.
but their sick, i highly highly recommend.
on a side note i bought a taylormade r7 superquad at the end of last season for $100 on craiglist.retail its expensive, but absolutely amazing.
 
just go aroundd and demo a bunch of clubs, i demoed clubs [b-day gift]and the taylormade r7 draws felt the best and now i have all r7 draws. I LOVE GOLF!!!!!!!
 
Yeah dude, just look for some game improvement irons with big cavities. Look on ebay for a full set.. they;re pretty cheap because not that many people buy them.

seward, if you have hit every club there is in golf, why would you buy nike slingshots? those are the grossest looking irons i've ever seen. I looked down on the PW and i gagged
 
I've been playing on some low end Wilson irons. They do the trick and were cheap. Just picked up a Taylor Made Tour Burner driver and I love it soooo much more than the drive my set came with. Eventually I'll pick myself up a new set or irons, but I don't have a big problem waiting.
 
taylormade all the way, i use the tour burner driver, burner 3 wood, and a couple burner hybrids. the driver isnt the most forgiving, but the 3 wood and hybrids are great to hit, i recommend those. and get mizuno wedges
 
i bought a used set of ping zing 2s. i know they are kinda old, but i love them .

add in a hybrid/ultiliy club, and regrip the irons. youll be set.
