you'd be depressed, too, if you were so damn good that the only person who could keep up with you was Seth Morrison and you only got to ski with him a couple times per season. JP's a fun guy, but he's also pretty serious (from what i've seen). met him and skied with him earlier this season, he was a really cool dude and i got the impression he's understandably super focused on what he's doing. nothin but respect for that guy.
