your an idiot if you think punk is dead. there are great bands out there still like The Virus, Oxymoron, The Briefs, and alot of others. Definatly check out the Briefs if you like older sounding punk music.

The problem with most punk, is that it's better when you are angry, young and poor. As the bands grow older, they earn more money and really arn't as angry. Just the way it goes.

good punk bands: the burn victims/ hatchet face, modern machines, hit the deck, the deal, the culprits, comeback kid, xlooking forwardx are all good raw punk bands, check out the huntingtons if you like the ramones/bland rock. and try to get ahold of a live album, they are a lot better live than in the studio
