What does "playful" mean??

I tend to think of it more in terms of springiness and rebound energy. Stiff skis can also be very playful IMO.

yup i think of it in terms of "pop" which is generally rebound and energy, stiffer skis are usually more playful to me because lots of softer skis feel dead...

in the description of the k2 silencers it says "a super playful ski" meaning its light, flexible, and poppy. you could "play" around with it more if that makes sense. soft enough to butter poppy enough to ollie and light enough to throw a three straight off the ground. i hope that made sense.

Playful is a general term and one rider may think a ski is more "playful" than another. Most of these skis will not be as reliable at mach speed and long turns. Normally they excel at jumping and fooling around on whatever you want on the mountain.

Playful- line anthem

Not so much- line mothership
