salomon has been around for a while and they are tried and true, but line has good skis too

salomons would be cheaper and youd probly get about the same performance

First one on the lift, last one off.

line - good warrenty, skis are breakable

salamon - the skis delam almost definetly

k2 - good warrenty, solid skis

k2 PE's or scratch's my top 2, i rode lines for a real long time on warenty, cuz i went through 3 pairs, but their good for when they last

you need to demo skis from both brands and decide for youself otherwise you'll waste your money

neal the reason your salomons havent delammed is becuase you have hardly skied on them. i have a pair of seth pistols and they have held up great- i skied on them for about 50 days straight this year too, and they're still in fine shape. so maybe consider public enemies if you're into park

yea look at your other options and try to ride some skis before you buy them...but if you insist on either line or salomon i'd go with Line

I ski Line myself, but my best friend skis Solomon. Try them for yourself and then decide. That's the only way you'll choose. I recommend the Mike Nicks when you try Lines.

salomon skis are garbage, line sksi are also garbage. salomon is hard to deal with when it comes to warrantys and their skis are made of fuckin foam. line has great warranty but if you only want to ride your skis for a month before they snap and you need new ones, and have to send them in for warranty for 3 weeks then get something else. I suggest the new dynastars, k2 has a great set of skis this year, PE or Pistol, whats your itch, rossi scratchs are amazing, skiied em last year and they were phenomenol, there is also new companies like armada or 4 frnt, which you could easily support and sound like great skis. Armadas are actually super tuff, a bit stiff, but a burley almost unbreakable ski. I have yet to try the 4 frnts, but they sound pretty fuckin cool too. Anyways mainly every largemarket ski store carries line or salomon, so alot of people pick on of those skis because thats what is on the shelf, if you hafta pic between the 2 i'd get lines, they are actually a really really good ski, just they occasionally bust and you gotta send em in. Salomon is just a stupid fuckin big ass company whos pros skis a different by exact same looking ski as what they sell in the stores. LIttle kids are dupped intot hinking they g=can ski like candide, but really his skis worth 5 grand and theirs is worth 6 cents. reconsider what you want, but if you gotta choos between the two go for line.

my salomons have delamed and i have only had them foe one season. i would say lines cause they are sick skis.

Line is a good park ski, but I thought they sucked out of the park. My friends are always breaking their 1080's too. I like my concepts.

The Best Salmon ski ever put out was the supermt. to bad they don't make it any more and it's not a twin. But I tend to stay near Dynastar and K2

skimack put it simply.....you pretty mcuh never, ever want a foam core ski. salomons seem to hold up very well, but they are foam core.

If it's only Line or Salomon, go Line. if it's not between those two, look at 4FRNTs.

i had salomons and i didnt like them at all. there warrenty sucks and if u need any parts for the ski they have to send to france. go line

my Line 1260's have held up great and i have skied quite a bit. sure other skis are better for hardpack or powder or whatever. i have not had a problem with mine on n e thing but ice!

i've had my teneighties for a couple years, and after a few too many overshoots in the park, they now make these funny popping noises when i bend them, and they are super bendy. i just got mo'ships, and they have a strip of titanium down the middle on top of the wood core. you can't go wrong with that.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.

I've rode a twin tip from each company are here are some things about them:

LINE (1260 164cm)

- Light

- High Tail

- Easy Fakie Riding

- durable. don't listen to those other fucks, look at the 1260 test and tell me how anyone could snap those. The only reason most people will be snapping their skis is because of extreme cold and some fucked up landings by some fatass.

- They're pretty soft, that can be good/bad

Salomon (1080 177cm)

- Heavy

- Edge doesn't hold well

- Not too great for swinging around

- Feel unstable

- Foam core is a turnoff

- Though these skis lack in the park area, at high speeds they're much more stable than LINEs.

Shit man, what kind of skiing are you doing and which skis are you looking at - Salmon has dozens of models. Go try them at a demo day and buy the ones you like. If you can't tell the difference skiing them - skrew it - buy the ones that you think are prettiest.
