What do you want out of a ski jacket?

If you could design a ski jacket what do you think it would look like and how would it be built.Example:look like a saga jacket fit like a saga jacket but have the durability of the salomon sideways 3l Jacket.

What would yours be?
 
20k/20k or somthing close, shell, long fit, pass pocket on sleeve, removable sleves, ykk zippers, fully taped seems, waterproofed zippers on pokets, powder skirt, plain color, oversize hood.
 
25/25, fully insulated, lots of pockets and features, tall fir, mesh thumb holes, dark grey to go with yellow pants and yellow pack., recco equipped, goggle wipe, somewhere to keep pass, pow skirt, whistle on zipper, mesh pit zips and vents, and quality stitching, build and material.

-full taped seams

-I hear 3L is good, but I dont really know

-non-exposed zippers w/zippers that are waterproofed anyway

-cinches that work without having to be tied.

-durable fabric obviosuly

-loose fitting, a lot of room to move around in.

Looks nice. Water proof. Zip off sleeves. None of that extremely skinny tall fit bullshit. Make it normal width but longer.
 
For a while, I had two jackets. One for everyday type of stuff, and another for skinning/hiking/moving in the backcountry.
I found that the more waterproof and useful of the two (BC jacket) was more than adequate for everything I do inbounds, so I sold the other.
Honestly, I like it a lot. Not many pockets, but it's full Goretex, perfect hood, and the pockets are designed to be opened while wearing a pack.
 
leopard fur on the inside. retractable spike strips and machine guns. Tall as fuck. solid gold zippers. fireproof/bombproof. 90k/90k
