I also would like to find some 3/4 length thick polar fleece mid layer pants, but no one seems to make these. It's been -5 with the windchill here and normal base layers are not cutting it.

I actually ordered those marmot toaster pants out of desperation since those are still available and I don't recommend them if you are looking for serious warmth. I'm keeping them just cause they are warmer than most of my pant base layers, but they are still really thin/cold around the knees and side of leg like I thought they might be
It's supposed to be -13 with the windchill tomorrow, time to wear 3 pairs of pants!
