Thoughts? there is a lot to improve so tell us whatever you think, and yes I know I suck as the host and rogge doesnt like his part either....but we'll get better, promise...it also takes a long time to load because its a large file, but that will be fixed soon, PLEASE BE CONSTRUCTIVE

I forgot to say, we're not allowed to film or post any footage of the comp as per regulations
HOWEVER
Dew Tour is providing videos at the end of the day of the finals which we will post
Do you guys want prelim footage as well? or just finals? cuz posting prelims will take up a lot of space in the show
 
another thing, we dont have time to edit the interviews in our timeframe in order to have these up at the end of the day because I'm alone filming and editing, doug and I are working our asses off to get this done, we were on the computers from 2 to 6 pm editing and converting, but we have everything sorted out so that we have the first footage of dew tour out of any site ...but on sunday we will post a full episode with condensed interviews
 
you guys did a pretty good job lol.

a little skiing would have been nice (obviously) but, as interviews go, you guys did a solid job.

 
so are the skiing parts on jons blog courtesy of the dew tour organisators too?

id love to see prelims too.. at least slopestyle. pipe wasnt too good to watch in my opinion
 
-Don't make the video autoplay, it gets a bit annoying when you check the thread again for comments etc.

-First interview seemed super awkward, was funny though.

-Try to hold the camera still, it's really quite bad when the guys reading out the prelim results in the office.

-Rather than have him read off the paper maybe have the results on the screen and just do a voiceover or something? Might make it more interesting then seeing someone just read shit off a piece of paper.
 
I would like to see footage of the prelims because it is always nice to see how everyone else threw down and not just the finalists. But if it takes up too much of the episode (and too much time to do) then it is probably best to leave them out and create a separate episode of just the prelim runs (either pipe and slope in one or two - again if time allows).

It was rusty around the edges but given the timeframe it has been put together in it isn't bad. Of couse it will likely improve as it all comes together (presenters, interviews, editting etc). When the revised interviews section come out it will be better than the ones there and when you are all happy with what you have to do in it, I'm sure it will improve and come together better. Would agree a lot with what mike (^) has to say aswell.

Overall I enjoyed it and look forward to the next one.
 
Yea, I second that. It was more painful than watching an ESL (English as a Second Language) student do public speaking,,,, i just fast forwarded it.
 
Well Dave,I didnt like seeing your ugly face!!! bwahahaha. No it was good I thought, cool to plug that MOment. And it needs to be posted earlier , a little late for that but if it was posted during so you kinda know whats happening it would be sweet. And try not stutt tt t t t ttt er junior.
 
Oh and dave cut out the uhhhhhhhs and the ummmmsss. We uhhhh have uhhhh lots of stuff coming up and uhhhhhhh. And thats totally constructive.
 
Very nice job, there is now somewhere to go to get up to date video news of ski comps. My only comment would be show a little skiing,Keep them coming.
 
Informative and entertaining, although sorry Mike, just reading off the prelim qual. wasnt to entertaining but its a great start guys, keep it up.

Hey it could get better... but im not complaining it was pretty good.

Just glad your doing it.

To bad you cant have Comp video in it though... showing any skiing would be good.
 
Well, if you don't take it seriously it's pretty good, which (I think) is what you were going for so... word. It was solid, I liked it. Had some comedic gems in there. Get more skiing, even if it's just prelims or warm-ups or whatever and you have yourselves a pretty decent program.
