What do you think of K2 skis?

Hey NS, my skis broke and i was looking through the Freeskier Buyers Guide and the K2 Press model got really good reviews and they arent expensive at all. I have never ridden on pair of K2's and I am want to now how people like the camber and rockered tips. If you could leave me some good input ill leave you some +k! Thanks guys!

mine are durable. still got them sine whenever the first gen disorderlys came out. also prepare for talk of freeskier.

K2 is relatively new to the game, so I would go with a company with more tried and trued prescence in the industry, like RMU or Bluehouse.

inb4 flashkick101 when he gets done skiing to tell you about the domain. i think its like the coolest park ski i've ever seen. its got everything you could want. i'll let him explain it to you though.

lol

About the press i dont think the presses have symmetrical tip height, the back tail looks like the old k2 price point twins.

Also i dont the like feel of k2 skis, not my style.

TROLL LA lol.
I love my K2's there so sick i have obsetheds but there the best skiis i have ever owned, & everybody else i know that owns some loves them to so ya

...another one who is dum in the brain....why dont u go look at some old ski pictures...see what skies they have? K2 FUCKING SKIIS they ahd one of the msot succsefull racing programs out there, how do u think they became the bigest company in skiing?

my dad still has his old K2 race skis. I want to ski them but my boots don't exactly fit into the bindings and they're not shaped, are really long and haven't been used in years so i don't know how safe that would be. it would be fun though.

yeah because they still have current race technology in their current skis you dumb shit. go fuck yourself prick

i like my ext's,little on the heavy side, side walls get torn up a bit but overall a great ski for any part of the mountain except pow (80 base)

I have my 07/08 fujatives still, they are beat to hell, have no edge, and the base is actually rounding because there is no edge contact point underfoot. Sliding rails and ice for 3 years is the shit. These things are still durable as can be. I rode the Obsethed when I was in utah and it was the same deal, they were demoed from a shop so they were pretty beat up but they were so durable and kept shape so well. Im a k2 buyer for life.

my mom has 2 pairs of old pres. 200 cm. non-shaped. not even a HINT of twin tip. I can hook you up for $200,000 if your interested....

K2's skis are very durable, they can really take a beating. They also go pretty fast and most of their skis works great all mountain so you don't have to live in the park.

K2 (founded in the 60s) IS "relatively new to the game" compared to say Rossignol (founded in like 1907).

You're always new to the game relative to someone.
