What do you look for in your outerwear?

So as the thread says what do you guys look for when buying your ski clothing colour, style, warmth what makes you decide to buy one brand and not the other?

I know there have been threads but whatever:

-Hobo cuffs are absolutely necessary

-Magnetic flap over zipper and to hold hood down

-Tall baggier fit (not super baggy)

-Zip off sleeves

-Plenty of pockets inside and outside

-Pass pocket outside

-Hidden pocket under the flap and next to the main zipper (chest)

-Pow skirt that has multiple adjustments

-NO VELCRO ANYWHERE

-Thicker material is preferred

-Pocket zippers must zip down to close. Loosing something sucks because the zippers zip up to close and then open up

-No removable hoods. Idk why some jackets have removable hoods.

-Maybe throw a recco thingy on there

I basically just described my old Sessions jacket less a few things.

this is really what you should do but honestly i go with looks > quality mostly because im a stupid threadwhore

this by far. i do like a nice looking jacket but i want something that will keep me warm and dry all day.
and like said before hobo cuffs are a must i will never buy another jacket without them.

No magnets, they fuck with transcievers. A few pockets, lots of vents. Either a small hood for show or a huge storm hood. Waterproof zippers that zip down. Basically saga or armada.

well first of all its gotta be leak proof.....and be able to hold alot of moisture. it also shouldnt be too tight in the groin. designs on them are cool but the depends are usually just plain. no matter what anyone says you can just go with a good XXL huggie which usually has a cool print on it.......wait a tick......oooohhh....OUTERwear......nevermind.
