can you name a couple programs that are free so i can try them

priemere is quite confusing. especially if youre new to editing. final cut is also the same way. start with something easier like pinnacle studio 8 or something. you can download it for free but for like $120 you can get it and the firewire card together. which you will need unless you have a mac.

 
i found a site that gives discounts to students buying adobe programs...but now i seem to forget it. ill post it when i can find it again
