setting them in the 7-10 range

15s have a more durable toe piece and you're mounted lower to the ski by ~0.7cm

durability of the metal toe of the p15 is debatable as I have never seen a plastic toe fail. Unless you are going to use a CAST SYSTEM, need a din higher then 12 or p15 are cheaper/same price, I would recommend the p12/14
