yea the '91 was far from reliable, plus its wasnt such a great car to begin with.

what are you basing that on? you have nothing to support that. In fact, I know of no other 4 cylinder engine at the time that was built better. iron block, forged + nitrided rods and crank, stainless frost plugs and fittings, overbalanced rotating assembly, the stock flywheel only weighs 12lbs, lightweight cams. it was one hell of an engine, better than any factory 4 even today. But what do you know? shit all.
