What do you do with your footy?

Im in the middle of editing my largest edit to date, and i was wondering what you guys did with your footage? Do you guys keep all the original footage or just the conformed footage?

how do you organize your shit to be efficient?

I have my system fairly down but i feel like im hoarding a fuckton.

Idk how you are money wise but i have an external drive i use that i just throw all of my raw video/pictures into a folder that sorts by date. I don't have to worry about running out of room any time soon with over a terabyte of room and it only cost like 80 bucks so i would consider it a win

I store my files as such (video folder, raw/prores folder, files)

-Video

-->Raw -> MTS files

-->Prores -> 422LT

then i just edit 1080p60 timeline and if i do any slowmotion i just do it in final cut and sometimes ill ramp in AE.

yeah im planning on buying one of these

2 tb. then i dont think ill feel as bad about keeping all my raw vid.
